Danny Carey.
I am not into Tool,but Danny does play some nice stuff on Aenima(or however you spell it).
He played the MD Fest a few yrs back and people told me he played great there.He's got chops,I'm just not into the band.

I sure wish he would turn his snares on once in a while.
Other than that, he's pretty good and anyone who has a gigantic Novo China has got to have something to offer.

He's a great player, very intelligent! He's from the Kansas City area and I got to see the first clinic he ever did. Not very good. He was and is a great player, just not much of a teacher. It was his first clinic, so I imagine he was a little nervous. I enjoyed his playing with recorded tracks. It was nice to see what he did up close.

That was a good descriptn..."intelligent drumming" for a "dark rock" band.
Good time, pocket, phrasing, & technq for that style of band/music.
I find him to be the "far beyond Peart of Doom n Gloom" [img]wink.gif[/img]
I would like to hear him in a more "aggressive-progressive" [fusion-rock] oriented project. [img]cool.gif[/img]
